Proton launches new Prevé

National car manufacturer Proton Holdings Berhad officially launched its new Prevé today, after it was unveiled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak at the Mines Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre here.
The Prevé will be available with two engine variants — a turbocharged as well as a naturally-aspirated 1.6 CFE — and three transmission types, including 6- and 7-speed continuously-variable transmissions (CVT).

Proton P3-21A launched end March

PROTON Holdings Bhd (Proton) has denied speculation that global car model, code-named P3-21A have a technical problems resulting delays in the launch, but waiting appropriate time for the official launch.
Group managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir said Proton P3-21A will be launched at the end of March and according to Syed Zainal, booking still not yet open but many people see the reaction on the model is well received after its launch.

NVIDIA open CUDA source code

NVIDIA today announced that it will provide the source code for the new NVIDIA® CUDA® LLVM-based compiler to academic researchers and software-tool vendors, enabling them to more easily add GPU support for more programming languages and support CUDA applications on alternative processor architectures.
