A lower cost Tesla Model 3 available to order starting today for the US market. Although lower in cost, it is built to achieve the same perfect 5-star safety rating as the longer-ranged version. The standard Model 3 version have 220 miles in range with a top speed of 130 mph with 0-60 mph acceleration in just 5.6 seconds is now available for $35,000.
They also introducing Model 3 Standard Range Plus which offer 240 miles of range with top speed 140 mph. This version also achieve 5.3 seconds for 0-60 mph acceleration, that 9% more range than standard version.
Tesla also shifted sales online, which means anyone in the US can quickly and easily buy a Tesla. Much easier to try out and return a Tesla, so that a test drive prior to purchase isn’t needed. Quite literally, you could buy a Tesla, drive several hundred miles for a weekend road trip with friends and then return it for free.
