TG Daily stumbled across more details about Nvidia
’s upcoming graphics card, which surely looks more and more like a processing monster. However, not many GT200 chips will actually fit on a 300 mm wafer at TSMC. Nvidia has come up with a huge die measuring 24 x 24 mm, resulting in a die area size of 576 mm2.

IBM Corp. began shipping high-end computers Tuesday built around the fastest chip on Earth, a microprocessor that can carry out up to 5 billion instructions per second, surpassing the speediest competing processors built by rivals like Intel or Sun Microsystems.

Ever since the 16GB iPod touch was announced in September, we all knew it was just a matter of time until Apple could bung the same NAND chip into their chubbier iPhone. The Surprise is a new 32GB iPod touch for the same $499. Both are available immediately.
