MSI’s new products – which reflect the company’s commitment to R&D and innovation – will be on display in the Diamond Room (2F), Novotel Hotel, Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) on October 18 – 22, 2009. GITEX technology week in Dubai is the most important international computer show in the Middle East, and over the last few years it has started to attract more attention from leading international PC vendors and buyers. This year, the organizers forecast that more than 1,000 companies from over 80 different countries will be taking part in the event. MSI, which has won several major international awards in recent years, will be showcasing its world-beating, innovative technology and its outstanding design capability at GITEX.
This year’s GITEX technology week coincides with a number of major generational technology shifts in the IT sector, including the introduction of Microsoft’s Windows 7, and the launch of Intel’s quad-core Core i7 processor (which offers outstanding performance), and Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) platform. With these developments in mind, the new products that MSI will be showcasing at GITEX Dubai 2009 will include several dozen new notebook PC models that have already secured Windows 7 certification, the high-performance GT740 gamer laptop with which the Fnatic.MSI team has been winning computer gaming competitions all over the world, the Xtreme Speed motherboard series, which support Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors, and the Wind Top AE2200 All-in-one PC, which is ideally suited to the needs of U.S.-style families and business users.
In the extension of its notebook PC product line, MSI has continued to display the same high level of innovation and outstanding industrial design aesthetics that have traditionally characterized the company’s products. MSI’s X-Slim series of slimline laptops (which are currently one of the hottest-selling types of notebook PC worldwide) includes the X600, which features a 15.6-inch display, the 14-inch X400 and the 13-inch X340. Smaller-sized notebook PCs have also been very popular with consumer this year; in this segment of the market MSI offers its U series, including the U123 and U100. The products in MSI’s Entertainment and Classics series – including the EX460, EX628 and CX600 – combine low price with first-class audiovisual entertainment capabilities. Then there MSI’s gamer laptops for the enthusiast market, including the GT640 and GT740, which feature the Intel Core i7 processor that outclasses any rival laptop.
In motherboards and graphics cards – a market segment where MSI is an industry leader – the company will be showcasing its Xtreme Speed series motherboards at GITEX Dubai. This series of motherboards has been designed to meet the needs of both ordinary consumers and high-end gaming enthusiasts, providing maximum performance with the P55 chipset and support for Intel’s Lynnfield Core i7 and Core i5 processors. Additionally, the Xtreme Speed mainboard series integrates three high-power features – OC Genie, SuperPipe, and DrMOS – to provide a one-of-a-kind experience. The OC Genie automatically finds the best BIOS settings to overclock your system and boosts performance with the push of a button. SuperPipe’s heat-pipe is made with strictly selected materials for the most effective cooling. The DrMOS power supply’s outstanding module design offers enhanced power-saving and stability. In addition, this series equips other unique features such as APS, Direct OC, and V-Kit to let users break through barriers and reach the most extreme speeds.
In the graphics card segment, the MSI N275GTX Lightning adopts Military Class components, including Hi-c CAP, SSC (Solid State Choke), and All Solid CAP. These components are all made of top quality materials and meet the temperature requirement of US Department of Defense. The core of the Hi-c CAP is made from a rare metal, Tantalum, which has extremely high stability like platinum ,and Hi-c CAP is widely used on NASA satellites and space shuttles in extremely bad environment. MSI N275GTX Lightning uses a lot of Hi-c CAP to provide the most stable GPU power supply and extend the lifespan of the components.
The products in MSI’s AIO Wind Top All-in-one series that will be on display at GITEX Dubai include the AE1900, which is the second highest selling All-in-one PC on Amazon, the recently launched 20-inch AE2010, and the 22-inch AE2200.
