No need to try setting the windows version below 95 :-)

Next step might be to try rebuilding wine with the hack from the bug report,

BTW does the bug happen with the free demo,

the native dll didn’t resolve the problem :

Windows version:

Windows Vista:the mouse doesn’t work in the main menu and in the game the keyboard and the mouse don’t work.

Windows XP:like Windows Vista

Windows 2003:like Windows Vista and windows XP

Windows 2000:same problem : I can’t turn more 180?

Windows ME:like Windows 2000

Windows 98:like Windows ME and Windows 2000

Windows 95:like Windows 98 , ME and 2000

Windows NT 4.0:message box : “This application requires DirectX version 7.0 or greater to run”

Windows NT 3.5:like Windows NT 4.0

Windows 3.1:the mouse problem is in the game AND the main menu

Windows 3.0:like Windows 3.1

Windows 2.0 : like windows 3.0 and Windows 3.1
