[e-users] shelf auto-hide is broken
I figured I would let this go for a while in case the error was a fix Thanks,
waiting to make it upstream, but for the last month or so, I’ve noticed that
shelf auto-hides do not work for shelves on the west or east edges of the
screen. The shelves dissappear on configuring them to auto-hide, but there
is no way to get them to appear again (I’ve tried waving my mouse seemingly
forever over all of the real estate provided by the shelf in multiple
themes–even after wiping all config files). Strangely, auto-hide on-click
seems to work just fine, though, when I select that. I suspect it is not
common to have virtual desktops only on north/south positions and
auto-hidden shelves on the east/west sides, so I thought it best to report
this to someone.

problem seemed to be linked to a bug in my version of wine’s
