Re: [e-users] epplets package removed from Debian testing and

I think it’s orphaned. Could someone here pick it up?

[e-users] xpm icons not showing in E17 applications menu

Hello,

could there be any reason why there are no icons shown for items (in the
E17 applications menu) for the case when icon defined in the appropriate
desktop file is of xpm type ? (png-type icons are shown correctly).

I am working on debian testing using the E17 packages from
debian.alphagemini.org. As an application menu,
/etc/xdg/menus/debian-menu.menu is used. The same menu seem to work fine
(all xpm icons visible) in IceWM. The “problem” should not be related to
icon-theme selection, since even desktop files with full path to xpm icons
are not drawn – e.g.:

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=HSQLDB Database Manager
GenericName=
Comment=
Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/hsqldb.xpm
Exec=/usr/bin/hsqldb-databasemanager
Terminal=false
Categories=X-Debian-Applications-Data-Management;

thanks for help,
Pavel
