Upcoming QF motherboard sets new 3DMark06 record for Radeon™ HD3870, overclocks processor to 6GHz, will have 8-phase digital PWM
Early testing of the latest Quantum Force motherboard, due for release in 2008, has broken 3DMark06 records for the mid-range Radeon™ HD3780 cards and produced stable overclocks of 6GHz for the latest Intel® processors.
With a score of 28,313 the test has produced one of the highest 3DMark06 scores of all time, and a new world record using the mid-range HD3780 graphics cards.

Some of my first computing was done on an Apple. OK, it was really a Franklin ACE 1000, which was an Apple II clone that Steve Jobs or Steve Wozniak quickly and decisively crushed into oblivion via a lawsuit.
By the time I was finished with our Franklin (my brother still owns it), I moved into working on IBM and IBM compatibles and moved out of the “educational” computing world into the “business” computing world. I never caught the Mac fever.

DDR-3 is the next-generation evolution of DDR and newer DDR-2 memory technology that will break the Gigahertz speed barrier for memory speed.
DDR-3 memory comes with a promise of a power consumption reduction of 30% compared to current DDR-2 modules, due to DDR-3′s 1.5 V supply voltage, compared to DDR-2′s 1.8 V or DDR-1′s 2.5 V.
