Leading ISVs Announce Support for Windows Server 2008

Hundreds of ISVs are developing applications to support the new platform.

REDMOND, Wash. — Feb. 26, 2008 — Hundreds of independent vendors (ISVs) including BEA Systems Inc., CA, Systems Inc., Epicor Corp., Quest Inc. and Corp., are demonstrating overwhelming support for the 2008 in anticipation of the largest and developer platform launch in Corp.’s history, encompassing the release of 2008, Visual Studio 2008 and 2008.

Hundreds of ISVs Pledge Support for 2008

These programs and their free supporting test tools help ensure that applications designed for 2008 will meet the high bar required by customers by focusing on compatibility and validating mission-critical applications on the platform:

  • Logo Program. The Logo Program was redesigned for 2008 based on partner and IT professional feedback into a program that is more achievable, affordable and valuable for the . The Logo Program has two engagement tiers: Works with and Certified fo
  • Works with 2008 includes 20 test cases that help determine baseline compatibility with 2008.
  • Certified for 2008 includes approximately 100 test cases and defines mission-critical line-of- applications that have passed best practices for features, , reliability and fundamentals.
